Shiromi & Ana Topped TISS Entrance Process
28th April 2016, Jaipur: Success follows hard working students especially when they got desired help and support from their mentors at the academic level. Shiromi Chaturvedi and Ana Khan, students of The IIS University have set this example by clearing Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai entrance test held recently.
Almost 800 candidates had appeared out of which only 28 candidates were selected for the admission. Shiromi Chaturvedi got first rank by scoring highest marks while Ana Khan stood at the third position. Both the students are not only brilliant in their studies but they always stand first in various co-curricular activities as well.
The entrance process of the institute was held at three levels. Candidates could reach to personal interview round only when the first two levels were cleared. More than 1000 candidates took the fist level of exam. Though, Shiromi was chosen for Chennai campus as she scored highest marks but since Mumbai was her first preference so she got admission in Mumbai based TISS.
Shiromi and Ana got admission in TISS for MA Applied Psychology, Counseling. According to Shiromi, it was her dream to study in TISS and it wouldn’t be possible without the mentors Chandrani Sen and Bhavna Arya, the faculties at The IIS University to name a few.
“Both the teachers landed their support in terms of clearing doubts related to the subject. They also mentored me as in how to face the personal interview”- said Shiromi.
